Spring Flower Bouquet

This “recipe”,  featuring McGinnis Ranch, was demonstrated for CUESA’s Market to Table program on March 30, 2019.

Makes 1 bouquet


1-3 focal flowers, depending on size
1-3 spike flowers
3-7 stems of foliage or herbs
3-5 smaller disc flowers


To prepare the flowers: pull all the lower leaves off the stems and cut stems at a 45-degree angle.

To build the bouquet: start by holding one focal flower.  Add 2-3 smaller flowers and place your other focal flowers near the center of the mix.  Using the rest of your foliage and flowers, turn the bouquet and add a different ingredient each time you turn.  Finish by adding the remaining foliage and cut to fit your vase.
