Reem's Says Farewell to Farmers Markets

We’re sad to share that Reem’s last day at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is this Saturday, February 1, as they step away from farmers markets to focus on their brick-and-mortar locations. Reem’s has been part of the market community for four years, and we have been so honored to host them as they’ve grown, spreading the warmth of Arab hospitality and receiving national accolades along the way! We wish Reem and the team much success at their Fruitvale Station bakery and soon-to-open Mission location. Stay tuned to Reem’s for updates.

Be sure to visit their stand this Saturday for a farewell man’oushe. (And don’t miss Reem at our evening talk, Civic Engagement through Food, on February 27!)

From Reem:

This weekend will be Reem’s last farmers market at the Ferry Building. This is a bittersweet announcement, as the markets are where the spirit of Reem’s Arab street food was born and where we have built a loyal base of customers, who have come week after week to get their favorite mana’eesh. Without all of your support, we would not have been able to open our brick & mortar locations. We are forever grateful to CUESA for supporting our growth over the past 4 years and look forward to other opportunities down the line that our continued relationship will bring.

As we prepare to grow into a more permanent home in San Francisco and continue to build a strong anchor in Oakland, we have decided to close this very important chapter of the Reem’s journey in the spirit of our continued growth and development.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers at the Ferry Building. We truly appreciate having been a part of your Saturday farmers market experience.  We love you all and hope to see you at our Mission location very soon.

Come out see us this weekend for one last hurrah!
