CUESA is now Foodwise. Celebrate with us!

March 14, 2022

Change is sprouting this spring! We have a new name, new look, and renewed commitment to you.

For nearly three decades, CUESA (the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) has operated world-class farmers markets and education programs to connect the Bay Area community with fresh, local food and sustainable family farms.

Now as Foodwise, we are building on those strengths and deepening our commitment to equity through expanded food access and education programs.

Inspired by our Foodwise Kids and Foodwise Teens programs, the name Foodwise honors the wisdom in all of us. It celebrates the power of community to create a fair, regenerative, and delicious food future for all. Wherever you are on your food journey, you belong here.

Celebrate with us on March 17 and 19!

We’re thrilled to bring back farmers market public education programs this spring. We’ll be celebrating our community and the change we are making together at two very special market days filled with delicious food, family fun, and music (plus, free Foodwise goodies!).
