About

Roberto and Manuel are carrying on a family legacy through Rodriguez Bros. Ranch. They grew up in Michoacán, Mexico, where their grandfather farmed. Both brothers considered other careers before committing to farming like their grandfather. They immigrated to the United States in the 1990s, and after nearly 10 years as strawberry pickers, the brothers were able to rent their own farmland in Watsonville.

On the farm, they grow a range of fruits and vegetables. At the farmers market during summertime, their stall is characterized by brightly colored strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. During most of the year, you can pick from heaps of vegetables, from leafy greens like kale and chard, to roots like carrots and onions.
