About

Cultiva is a restaurant in San Juan Bautista that offers a farm-fresh menu, hands-on workshops, and community events to get locals connected to the rich agriculture in their area. At their pop-up in the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, Cultiva sells fresh cold-pressed juices, salsas, and other seasonal snacks made with excess produce from their neighboring booth, Green Thumb Farms.

Rudy and Maria’s shared mission, both with Green Thumb Farms and with Cultiva, is centered around curbing food waste, creating opportunities for food education in the community, fostering land sovereignty, and cultivating food justice. 

Sourcing

Cultiva sources all vegetables from its sister business, Green Thumb Farms. Fruit is sourced from Twin Girls Farm, Lucky You Orchards, and other farms near San Juan Bautista.
