Italian-Style Mac & Cheese

Makes one 20-inch pan

INGREDIENTS
1 box of large macaroni elbow noodles 
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup cup of butter  
1/3  cup of milk 
½ cup of cream cheese 
2 tbsp of salt 
1 tbsp of pepper 
1 tbsp of Italian seasoning or fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, and/or parsley
1 clove of garlic / 1 tablespoon of minced garlic 
1 ounce of parmesan cheese 
1 ounce of shredded 5 cheese mix

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 450 F.

Begin cooking macaroni noodles following instructions on box. 

In a separate pot, heat whipping cream, butter, milk, cream cheese, and add all seasonings. Next bring to a boil and whisk all ingredients together to make a roux. 

Once noodles are just barely cooked to al dente (about 10 min), place noodles in 20 inch pan

Mix in the roux and parmesan cheese with noodles until evenly distributed. Sprinkle the shredded cheese mix over pan of noodles. Evenly sprinkle a teaspoon of salt and pepper over top of dish. Place in oven at 450 degrees for 7 minutes until bubbling.

Serve hot with sides of your choice!
