From cooking demos to seasonal tastings, we provide educational experiences to connect our community in sharing food knowledge and accessible, family-friendly recipes that reflect the seasonal bounty of the farmers market and the diversity of our communities.
Join us on Saturdays at the Foodwise Classroom at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market to deepen your kitchen confidence and know-how, and build community around fresh, seasonal food. Local chefs, cooks, and cookbook authors share their food knowledge and demonstrate recipes using ingredients from the farmers market. Taste their creations, ask questions, and leave inspired, with a recipe in hand.
