Support Foodwise Teens at the Farmers Market

April 19, 2019

Local youth are building skills to sustain healthy lives and a healthy planet through CUESA’s Foodwise Teens paid job training program. Support our students at the Saturday Ferry Plaza Farmers Market this spring, where they’ll be selling their school garden produce and flowers and handcrafted herbal teas, rosemary salt, and pickles, on April 20 through May 25.

About Foodwise Teens

Building on eight years of success in CUESA’s youth programming, Foodwise Teens transforms CUESA’s youth programming and takes it to the next level. Students learn about sustainable food jobs and get hands-on experience in the garden, in the kitchen, and at the farmers market, while getting paid for their work. Through the Foodwise Teens program, students build life and job skills; grow, make, and sell their own fruits, vegetables, and food products; and eat good food!
