Golden Gateway Garage Reopens on Saturdays
After a two-year hiatus, we’re excited to announce that starting January 29, 2022, Golden Gateway Garage is reopening on Saturdays for your Ferry Plaza Farmers Market parking needs. Located at 250 Clay Street (between Battery and Davis Streets), the garage will be open 7 am to 7 pm on Saturdays, with a new all-day flat rate of $8, no validation required. Changes on the Embarcadero Impact Veggie Valet and Passenger Loading
Updated February 11, 2022: Major changes to the Embarcadero roadway are underway, which impact the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, as SFTMA commences Phase 1 of The Embarcadero Enhancement Project. As of Saturday, February 5, northbound vehicle lanes have been reduced, and a two-way bike lane now runs alongside the curb in front of the Ferry Building.
When stopping for passenger and Veggie Valet loading, your vehicle must be to the left of the bike lane, rather than directly curbside. Veggie Valet shoppers should pull into the front area of the south loading zone, and follow the signs and staff who will be there to assist and guide you. When crossing the two-way bike lane on foot, please be safe and look both ways. Thank you for your patience as we navigate these changes!
Please stay tuned for future updates on this multiphase project. For questions related to the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, please visit the Info Booth or contact us at .
