Treat mom to some beautiful, locally grown blooms for Mother’s Day. On the cusp between the first wave of spring flowers and the summer beauties to come, the month of May offers sweet peas, agrostemma, statice, strawflowers, watsonia, and more. We’ve created a Flower Seasonality Chart to help you get to know the availability of cut flowers and other ornamental plants at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market throughout the year. Every year is different, and individual farms might have different harvest times, so talk to your flower growers.
