About

Growing up in a family of fruit farmers, Phil Teresi has been farming since he was 13. Grace Teresi, his wife, started her life as a farmer in her early twenties, growing spices and peas. They joined the Alemany Farmers Market in 1982, selling with other farm projects before establishing Miramonte. In 1992, Phil and Grace bought their own land in San Juan Bautista, combining their years of expertise. Today, their daughter Katie runs the small family farm alongside them. True to their philosophy of farming with “minimum impact, maximum flavor,” Grace and Phil have been practicing dry farming for over 20 years. They take pride in their organic, dry-farmed heirloom tomatoes, as well as their tart apples and late-season peaches.
