Stop by the Foodwise Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
Thassanee Ruthwait (Nee) is the founder and creator of the authentic menu of Sweet Lime Thai Cuisine, the acclaimed restaurant in San Francisco. She grew up cooking and working with her Aunt who owns the well-known Nittaya Kai Yang restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand. Nee has travelled throughout Thailand tasting and learning traditional Thai recipes which she puts into practice in San Francisco. She is currently a private chef and caterer and teaches Thai cooking in California. She loves to cook for the Thai Temple, parties, and friends.
All demos take place in the Foodwise Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
