Imani M-Glover, The Lemonade Bar

Saturday, March 25, 2023, 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Stop by the Foodwise Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, in conjunction with Pop-Ups on the Plaza: Celebrating Black Women Makers on March 25.

Imani M-Glover, founder and CEO of The Lemonade Bar, has had an entrepreneurial spirit since childhood, and was determined to earn money for the things she wanted, such as playing basketball, cheerleading, and attending prom. To achieve her goals, she began selling her homemade popcorn balls at school, which quickly sold out every day. This determination and business savvy have made Imani a successful entrepreneur from a young age.

The Lemonade Bar specializes in fresh squeezed lemonade and organic handcrafted frozen lemonades. They work out of the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Area. They can be found at farmers markets, weddings, graduations, parties, and more. They pride themselves in using organic locally sourced ingredients from farmers within the community.

All demos take place in the Foodwise Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
