Sightglass Coffee Says Farewell to the Ferry Plaza

We are sad to share that, after six years, Sightglass Coffee has decided step away from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. It is always bittersweet when a vendor leaves the farmers market, but we have been so proud to watch Sightglass’s grow, and we are so grateful for their continued support of the market community!

Their last market day will be Saturday, September 28, so be sure to visit them September 21, 24, 26, and 28 at the Ferry Plaza for a fond farewell. Please join us in thanking Justin, Jerad, and the Sightglass crew for their many cups of directly sourced, impeccably roasted, and lovingly poured joe. We wish them much success in this next phase!

After 6 amazing years of serving our local community, rain or shine, we are incredibly humbled (with a tinge of sadness) to announce that we will no longer be serving our coffees at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

The opportunity that CUESA provided us back in 2013 was a dream come true for our family business, and one that we do not take for granted. To have a presence at one of the world’s most iconic farmers markets was not only an absolute honor but an avenue for us to build our business through serving some of the most discerning customers, producers, and culinary influencers around.

Through the help of CUESA and the relationships we built at the market we’ve grown our business from a grassroots kiosk into a handful of brick-and-mortar locations throughout San Francisco. As we look forward, the time has come for us to pass the torch and create an opportunity for an up and coming purveyor to take our spot at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Markets. 

We want to take this opportunity to thank CUESA, all of our fellow market vendors, and the loyal customers that support the hard work that goes into delivering excellence at the market week after week. 

We hope that you’re able to join us on our final day of service, Saturday, September 28, to help us celebrate the 6 wonderful years we’ve had serving the community at the Ferry Plaza.
