Director of Operations
Lulu (she/her/hers) oversees operations for Foodwise, including our year-round farmers markets, and provides support for our annual fundraising and educational events. Lulu joined the team in 2004 and during her time at Foodwise has developed and refined Foodwise’s Market to Chef Program, which helps to encourage and facilitate the sourcing of local farm products by Bay Area chefs, caterers, and food crafters. A native San Franciscan, Lulu studied at the California Culinary Academy and had worked in the restaurant industry for more than 10 years before coming to Foodwise. Being surrounded by all of our wonderful farmers, local chefs, and food-savvy customers at the markets is the highlight of Lulu’s week. Meet Lulu.
