Robert “Bobby” Garcia grew up at farmers markets with his parents, who met in the plant nursery business and regularly brought him along to help sell their plants. After returning from college, Bobby started his own nursery business in 2015. He specializes in succulents, but also grows air plants, herbs, and other plants for homes and gardens. Growing up in San Diego County, which is considered the succulent capital of the US, Bobby has a deep knowledge of succulent cultivation and connections with other growers. Although he is from Southern California, Bobby has family in the Bay Area and has always thought of it as his second home. He now drives up almost every weekend to sell his plants at Bay Area farmers markets.
