Estrellita’s Snacks is a third-generation family-run pupuseria owned by Estrella Gonzalez and managed by her son, Angel. Estrella’s mother, Maria Del Carmen, started her business selling plantain chips, and later developed it into a food truck with the food business incubator La Cocina in 2005. Since 2006, Estrellita’s Snacks has been serving authentic Salvadoran specialties at Alemany Farmers Market, where Estrella and her family continue to work to maintain the original quality and high standards of Maria’s recipes. Upon visiting Estrellita’s Snacks at the farmers market, you can expect to be served by family members trained by Estrella or Maria themselves
