Kick off Latine Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) with Foodwise at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Stop by the Foodwise Classroom for two cooking demos by Latine chefs, featuring the seasonal bounty of the farmers market.
Artist and chocolatier Malena Lopez-Maggi founded The Xocolate Bar in 2006. She and her team of creative foodies make award winning, original recipes inspired by international comfort foods. Visit them in North Berkeley or at their new location in Rockridge, Oakland.

All demos take place in the Foodwise Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
