On Thursday, May 30, celebrate CalFresh Awareness Month at Mission Community Market. CalFresh helps to improve the health and well-being of Californians by providing improved access to healthy and nutritious foods. Learn all about CalFresh here.
- Foodwise will be giving market tote bags to the first 15 shoppers using CalFresh who visit the Foodwise info booth after the market opens at 3 pm.
- Everyone who signs up for our weekly e-letter at the info booth will be entered to win a raffle prize for $50 to spend at any Foodwise market.
- Visit the Foodwise tent for a kids coloring activity and cost-conscious, market-based recipes.
- Enjoy live music from Manos Lindas at La Placita Stage (5 pm), brought to you in partnership with Little Mission Studio
