In 2015, Adrian Hoffman and Ismael Macias left decades-long careers as chefs in high-end restaurants to connect the Bay Area with fresh local seafood. Their team grew to include fish farmer Tom Ebert, whom they had sourced from over the years.

Four Star Seafood provided seafood to Bay Area restaurants before transitioning to selling directly to home cooks at farmers markets in 2020. Four Star Seafood prides itself in offering fresh, high-quality seafood to its customers. 

Sourcing

For most of their products, Four Star Seafood partners with local fishermen in Half Moon Bay, Monterey Bay, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz. Some specialty products such as Ahi tuna and scallops are flown in from trusted fishermen.
