Make 'er Mine: Summer Punch with Lemonade

This recipe was demonstrated for CUESA’s Ultimate Summer Picnic Hands-On Cooking & Cocktail Class with Maker’s Mark and The Saratoga on July 13, 2019.
Makes 1 large punch bowl
750 mL bourbon such as Maker’s Mark
3 cups lemon juice
3 cups water
3 cups super fine sugar
5 yellow peaches
2 bunches mint
For the bourbon: Cut up the yellow peaches, remove pits, and steep in bourbon for approximately 5 hours.
For the lemonade: Combine lemon juice, water, and sugar. After making 2¼ quarts of lemonade, place 2 bunches of picked mint leaves in lemonade and steep for approximately 2 hours.
For the cocktail: Pour 1½ ounces of peach bourbon to 3 ounces of mint-infused lemonade over ice.
