Women Movers & Shakers: Spring Cocktails of the Farmers Market

Wednesday, April 18, 2018, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

A Night of Strong Drinks & Strong Women

Women are shaking up the world of food and drink, calling the shots in restaurants, in bars, and on the farm. Join CUESA and the San Francisco chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild in celebrating women bartenders and chefs who are on the forefront of sustainability, equity, and innovation.

Raise a glass in the Ferry Building’s Grand Hall with delicious handcrafted sips and bites from an all-women lineup of Bay Area change makers, including acclaimed chef-restaurateur and cookbook author Tanya Holland, San Francisco Rising Star Bartender Alicia Walton, James Beard Foundation Award nominees Reem Assil and Rachel Aronow, and other trendsetters. As these visionaries prove, the future is female and the future is now.

Everyone receives three full-sized signature cocktails, along with unlimited sample-size drinks, all showcasing the freshest farmers market produce.

This spring, CUESA celebrates 25 years of cultivating a healthy food system, and 10 years of partnering with the USBG for this groundbreaking Cocktails of the Farmers Market series. CUESA envisions an inclusive and sustainable food system, offering programs that nurture the next generation of farmers, food entrepreneurs, and healthy eaters. Proceeds support this work and the USBG’s professional development programs.
