Send Some Holiday Cheer to Veterans

This holiday season, CUESA volunteers are making a holiday meal to donate to formerly homeless veterans at The Fairfax Hotel, in partnership with Food Runners.
Join us on Saturday, December 23, in the CUESA Classroom from 10 am to 1 pm to decorate a giant card with holiday greetings, to be delivered with the meal.
The Fairfax Hotel is a housing site for formerly homeless veterans run by Swords to Plowshares. Food Runners’ mission is to help alleviate hunger in San Francisco, to help prevent waste, and to help create community. Food Runners picks up excess perishable and prepared food from businesses such as restaurants, caterers, bakeries, hospitals, corporate cafeterias, and farmers markets and delivers it directly to neighborhood food programs.
