Ripe: Summer Cocktails of the Farmers Market

Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Savor California’s Best at the Freshest Happy Hour in Town

From the cool fog of the coast to the heat of the Central Valley, California grows half of the country’s fruit and vegetables, offering the freshest, ripest, and most flavorful produce you can find. Savor California’s abundance in all of its peak-season glory at Ripe: Summer Cocktails of the Farmers Market, presented by CUESA and the US Bartenders Guild.

At this happy hour party, you’ll bask in the sunshine of the iconic Ferry Building’s Grand Hall while tasting impeccably crafted cocktails from 13 of Bay Area’s most talented bartenders. Each drink, created for one night only, will feature the best the summer farmers market has to offer: tree-ripened peaches and plums, juicy heirloom tomatoes, berries bursting with flavor, and much more. You’ll enjoy three full-sized signature cocktails and unlimited sample-size drinks, along with delicious bites from celebrated local restaurants.

Celebrate National Farmers Market Week by raising a glass to our local family farmers who care for the land while bringing this incredible bounty to our tables. Proceeds from this fundraising event support CUESA’s work to grow thriving communities through the power and joy of local food, and the USBG’s professional development programs.
