Unwind under the palm trees at Jack London Square with the coolest craft cocktails as CUESA and the United States Bartenders Guild present the second annual Oakland edition of the popular Cocktails of the Farmers Market series. Let talented East Bay bartenders perk up your palate with innovative drinks showcasing stone fruit, melons, berries, tomatoes, and other peak-season produce from the Jack London Square Farmers Market.
At this sun-dappled outdoor happy hour party, guests receive four full-sized signature cocktails featuring Jack Daniel’s, Maestro Dobel Tequila, Pernod Ricard, and Writer’s Tears Irish Whiskey, along with unlimited sample-size drinks. The scenic Palm Plaza—home of the Jack London Square Farmers Market on Sundays—transforms into your waterfront getaway, where you can sway to summer tunes, engage in outdoor activities, and savor the sunset by the Bay, all with refreshing summer sips in hand. Music provided by OAKHELLA, featuring Drow Flow.
New this year, we will have a variety of dinner options available for purchase. There will be no complimentary small bites included in your ticket purchase. Based on feedback at our inaugural fundraiser at Palm Plaza, we heard that you would like more substantial food offerings, so we’ve gathered a group of our favorite restaurants and food trucks for you to purchase from.
This year, CUESA celebrates 25 years of cultivating a healthy food system, and 10 years of partnering with the USBG for this groundbreaking Cocktails of the Farmers Market series. CUESA envisions an inclusive and sustainable food system, and our programs support the next generation of farmers, food entrepreneurs, and healthy eaters. Proceeds support this work and the USBG’s professional development programs.

The USBG is the most skilled, knowledgeable, and professional association of bartenders in the industry, uniting dedicated professionals in service to the traditions of our trade. Please note: Must be 21 years to attend. Tickets are nonrefundable but are transferable. For nondrinkers and designated drivers, we will offer a few clearly marked nonalcoholic options.
