New Volunteer Orientation

Wednesday, August 17, 2016, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Get an insider’s view of the farmers market, meet other food lovers, and gain valuable skills by volunteering with CUESA! We are currently seeking volunteers to assist in our education programs, events, and farmers markets, including the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco, and the Jack London Square Farmers Market in Oakland.

To learn more about our volunteer program, please join us for an orientation on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Topics covered during orientation include:

  • History and background of CUESA
  • CUESA’s farmers markets and educational programs
  • Volunteer policies and opportunities

The CUESA staff will be on hand to discuss their role in the organization and answer your questions. As an added plus, we’ll enjoy fresh local snacks from the farmers market.

The Port Commission Hearing Room is on the second floor of the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Just walk up the large staircase under the clocktower, and you will see the room on the bayside of the second floor.
