Matt Davidson, Pizzeria Delfina

Saturday, March 18, 2017, 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Matt “The Bonecrusher” Davidson began his culinary career out of a passion for authentic, seasonally-driven cuisine. Matt started his journey in kitchens at age 16, then attended California Culinary Academy. He’s continued to hone his skills as he rises through the ranks in acclaimed Bay Area kitchens, including Cotogna, Slanted Door, and Mission Bowling.
In September 2012, in his quest to be a “Pizzaiolo for Life,” Matt joined Pizzeria Delfina. He was drawn in by Chef Craig Stoll’s devotion to research, authenticity, hospitality, and seasonality. Matt has since run the kitchen in three of the four Pizzeria locations – Pacific Heights, the Mission, and Burlingame (his current home base.) Matt made his TV debut on the first-ever New Year’s Eve episode of Food Network’s Chopped this past December.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
