Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a talk and tasting featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and highlighting one of our market sellers. This demo will also connect to the theme of Preserving Biodiversity from The Food Change, a new multifaceted educational project from CUESA. Maggie will share Sightglass’ favorite recipes for brewing coffee at home and demonstrate different brewing techniques.
Sightglass is an independent, sibling-owned coffee company in San Francisco. They started with an aspiration to source, produce, and share distinctive, quality-focused coffees. Their objective as a coffee company is to recognize the intentions of the people who have contributed to producing their coffees and express these intentions through their work, from sourcing, roasting, and brewing the perfect cup.
2019 marks their tenth year as a company and the sixth year Sightglass has had the opportunity to be a part of the wonderful community at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. They are excited to support CUESA’s educational program and talk more about seasonality and sustainability in coffee.
All Market to Table programs take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
