Crumble & Whisk is a seasoned bake shop in the heart of San Francisco. Charles Farriér started the business in 2013 with a passion for the artistry of cheesecakes. With the assistance of the La Cocina business incubator program, he was able to expand and offer his cheesecakes to a wider audience. His cheesecakes range in size from bite-sized, mini, and large, with some popular flavors highlighting seasonal ingredients. Crumble & Whisk takes pride in presenting creative and artistic styles of cheesecake at the farmers market, including berry and beet, strawberry, roasted peach crumble, and spicy Mexican chocolate.
You can find Charles at CUESA’s Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco on Saturdays, where he has been selling his artisan cheesecakes since 2016.
Janelle Bitker explores the Bay Area’s culture through food. From restaurants to trends to the people who make it all happen, Janelle’s coverage stays on top of the vast Bay Area culinary scene.
