Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. This demo will highlight a farmer-chef connection forged at the market, featuring Twin Girls Farm.
David Murphy, a young, talented chef with tremendous spirit, sits at the helm of Whitechapel, an award-winning gin bar with remarkable food. David, previously of James Beard Award winning Uchi in Austin, and the Michelin starred Madera, has worked all over the United States, including stints in New York, Pittsburgh, Oahu, and his native Austin. He has done several pop-up dinner series and is known for his playful, inspired approach to cuisine. Visit Whitechapel to enjoy David’s menu of Anglo-Bangladeshi-inspired pub fare in a fun, crazy atmosphere that is sure to leave an impression.
All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
