CUESA Volunteer Orientation
Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Give back to your community, support a healthy food system, and gain valuable skills by volunteering with CUESA. Volunteers are vital members of our team who perform a wide range of duties such as assisting customers at our farmers markets, supporting chef demos, teaching kids to cook, and helping out behind the scenes at the CUESA office. Make new friends and get hands-on culinary, event, and nonprofit experience by volunteering your time and talents with CUESA.
Join us at our next volunteer orientation at the San Francisco Ferry Building from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
Topics covered during orientation include:
- What a food system is and how CUESA contributes
- History and background of CUESA
- How CUESA operates
- The farmers market and educational programs
- Volunteer policies and opportunities
The CUESA staff will be on hand to discuss their role in the organization and answer your questions. As an added plus, we’ll enjoy fresh local snacks from the farmers market. To learn more about the various volunteer opportunities at CUESA, visit this link.
Please complete our online application here before attending the orientation and before starting your volunteer service.
The Port Commission Hearing Room is on the second floor at the Ferry Building, Just walk up the large staircase under the clocktower and you will see the room on the bayside of the building.
