This event takes place at CUESA’s Jack London Square Farmers Market in Oakland (details).
As the industrial food system promotes monoculture and narrows the genetic foundation of our food crops, farmers markets explode with variety. Our biodiversity exhibit celebrates the bounty with fun activities and games to test your knowledge of lesser-known varieties of fruit and vegetables. You’ll also sample purple beans from McGinnis Ranch.
Free and open to the public. Find us adjacent to the CUESA Info Booth near the Broadway entrance to Jack London Square.
