Banks White, The Brixton & Rambler

Saturday, November 2, 2019, 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Banks White is the new culinary director for Hat Trick Hospitality, whose portfolio includes The Brixton, Rambler and the second location of The Brixton by the ballpark. His career includes Auberge du Soleil; Etoile Domaine Chandon; FIVE in Berkeley, a Michelin Bib Gourmand rated restaurant; and Mintons in New York. In 2017, he became executive chef of The Brixton’s sister restaurant, Rambler, located in Union Square, which began his start with the growing restaurant group. His culinary philosophy is rooted in the rich tradition of Southern hospitality looking through a Bay Area lens, utilizing simple techniques to make food stand out, and showcasing finer touches and finesse that combine high-quality dining and approachable style.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
