30th Anniversary of the Jack London Square Farmers Market

Sunday, August 4, 2019, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Kick off National Farmers Market Week by celebrating 30 years of Jack London Square Farmers Market on Sunday, August 4! Founded in 1989, the Jack London Square Farmers Market has deep roots in Oakland, providing a vibrant waterfront marketplace for Bay Area families.

Join CUESA for a festive day of delicious fun at the farmers market, while supporting local farmers, makers, and food businesses.

  • Stop by the CUESA Info Booth at any of our markets to pick up a free “I ❤ Farmers Markets” temporary tattoo.
  • Bring the kids by the CUESA Kids’ Corner (11:00 am to 2:00 pm) to decorate a mini market tote.
  • Stop by the CUESA Food Shed (11:00 am to 2:00 pm) for simple market sample and recipe.
  • Enjoy live music by Dewayne Oakley Blues Ensemble.

The Jack London Square Farmers Market takes place in Jack London Square at Webster Street at Embarcadero West, in the plaza that contains Jack London’s Cabin (aka “Palm Plaza”).
