Pies That Took Home the Prize

Thanks to everyone who came out for CUESA’s Pie Contest on Sunday at our Mission Rock Farmers Market Pop-Up at The Yard! It was great to see many familiar faces at the competition as well as new entrants. The contest was a close one, with so many creative and delicious creations inspired by the fall harvest–exactly the seasonal innovation we love to see!

Judges tried pacing themselves as they worked their way through the 15 pies at the competition. Hard to do when each pie was a winner!
Apple cider pressing took place alongside the pie competition and proved fun for all ages.
